Billing & Plans
Formula Foundry has three plan tiers — Starter, Pro, and Business — each available on a monthly subscription. A lifetime variant of each plan is also offered from time to time. For the current prices and seat counts, see the pricing page at formulafoundry.io/pricing .
What the plans unlock
Every plan’s capabilities are encoded in a WorkspaceConfig — a set of quantitative quotas and binary capability flags — so what you see in the product matches what your plan actually allows.

Exact quota numbers are set per plan in the workspace config; the Editor and the panels surface them inline (e.g. the Snippets panel shows used / max).
Trials
New workspaces start on a 14-day usage-based trial. The countdown only ticks down on days where you actually use the product — skip a day and the trial doesn’t burn. When the trial ends, the workspace status flips to trial_expired until a paid subscription activates it.
Managing your subscription
- Open the Formula Foundry portal .
- Go to Billing.
- You’ll see the current plan, status (trialing, active, past-due, etc.), seat count, and the next billing date.
- Use Change plan to upgrade or downgrade.
Payment methods
Payments are handled by Stripe. We accept the major credit and debit cards Stripe supports. Formula Foundry never stores your card details directly.
Cancellation
You can cancel from the Billing page at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the workspace moves to canceled and then reverts to Starter-level access. Your data — variables, snippets, tabs — is preserved in case you come back.
Invoices
Every charge generates an invoice that’s downloadable from the Billing page.
