Billing & Plans
Formula Foundry is freemium. You start on a permanent Free plan — no credit card required — and upgrade to Pro, Business, or Enterprise whenever you need more. The paid tiers are billed monthly, with a discount when billed annually. For the current prices and seat counts, see the pricing page at formulafoundry.io/pricing .
- Free — $0, no credit card. The entry tier.
- Pro — $19/month, or $15/month billed annually.
- Business — $29/seat/month, or $24/seat/month billed annually.
- Enterprise — custom quote; contact sales.
What the plans unlock
Every plan’s capabilities are encoded in a WorkspaceConfig — a set of quantitative quotas and binary capability flags — so what you see in the product matches what your plan actually allows.

Exact quota numbers are set per plan in the workspace config; the Editor and the panels surface them inline (e.g. the Snippets panel shows used / max).
Starting free and upgrading
Every new workspace starts on the Free plan — no credit card, no trial clock. Free is permanent: use the Editor, the Visual Builder, a few snippets and variables, and a monthly allowance of AI generations for as long as you like.
When you’re ready for unlimited tabs, snippets, and variables, the extended AI budget, or team features, upgrade to a paid plan:
- Open the Formula Foundry portal .
- Go to Billing.
- Pick Pro or Business and complete the Stripe checkout.
- Use Change plan later to upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing.
Managing your subscription
- Open the Formula Foundry portal .
- Go to Billing.
- You’ll see the current plan, status (active, past-due, etc.), seat count, and the next billing date.
- Open the Stripe customer portal from here to update your card, change plan, or cancel.
Payment methods
Payments are handled by Stripe. We accept the major credit and debit cards Stripe supports. Formula Foundry never stores your card details directly.
Cancellation
You can cancel from the Billing page (via the Stripe customer portal) at any time. Paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the workspace drops back to the Free plan. Your data — variables, snippets, tabs — is preserved; anything over the Free caps becomes read-only until you trim down or upgrade again.
Invoices
Every charge generates an invoice that’s downloadable from the Billing page.
